Membership Agreement

Important: By subscribing to a Gotta Gacha membership, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Membership Agreement. Please read carefully before subscribing.

1. Membership Overview

Gotta Gacha offers membership subscriptions that provide various benefits for use at our Warren, Michigan location. By subscribing, you enter into a recurring payment agreement as described in this document.

2. Membership Tiers

Voyager Membership

The Voyager tier is limited to the first 150 members. Voyager members receive special perks including a permanent Voyager number, exclusive Discord role, invites to Voyager-only events, and early access to new features.

Standard Membership

Standard membership is available to all members after the initial 150 Voyager spots are filled. Standard members receive the core membership benefits.

3. Current Benefits

As of the date above, membership includes the following monthly benefits:

  • 6 PC gaming hours per billing period
  • $5 arcade credits per billing period
  • 1 guest hour per billing period (for bringing a new visitor)
  • 1 free fountain drink per visit
  • Member pricing on walk-in rates

Note: Benefits do not roll over between billing periods. Unused benefits expire at the end of each billing cycle.

4. Right to Modify Benefits, Pricing, and Terms

IMPORTANT: Please read this section carefully.

By subscribing, you acknowledge and agree that Gotta Gacha reserves the right to modify membership benefits, pricing, and these terms at any time.

Benefit Modifications

We may add, remove, or modify membership benefits at any time. This includes changes to the quantity, availability, or nature of benefits. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes via email or website announcement.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change membership pricing. For existing members, price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle after notice is provided. Voyager members who subscribed during the initial launch period may have different pricing terms as specified at the time of their enrollment.

Terms Modifications

We may modify these Membership Agreement terms at any time. Continued use of your membership after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. If you do not agree to changes, you may cancel your membership.

5. Billing and Payments

Subscription Billing

Memberships are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your selection). Your payment method will be automatically charged at the beginning of each billing period.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the recurring subscription amount.

Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we may attempt to process the charge again. Your membership benefits may be suspended until payment is successfully processed. We may cancel your membership after repeated payment failures.

6. Cancellation Policy

How to Cancel

You may cancel your membership at any time through your profile page by clicking "Manage Subscription" to access the Stripe billing portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period.

Effect of Cancellation

After cancellation, you will retain access to membership benefits until the end of your current billing period. No prorated refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

Voyager Status and Cancellation

Voyager Status is Permanent

If you cancel a Voyager membership, you will permanently lose your Voyager status and number. Voyager spots are limited and non-transferable. If you re-subscribe after cancellation, you will receive a Standard membership (unless Voyager spots are still available, which is unlikely).

Membership Pausing

As an alternative to cancellation, you may be able to pause your membership for up to 2 months. During the pause, you will not be charged and will not have access to benefits. Your Voyager status (if applicable) will be preserved. Contact us to request a pause.

7. Refund Policy

Membership fees are generally non-refundable. We do not provide refunds for:

  • Unused benefits within a billing period
  • Partial billing periods after cancellation
  • Periods where you chose not to visit our location
  • Changes to benefits or services

In exceptional circumstances, refunds may be considered at our sole discretion. Please contact us to discuss any concerns.

8. Benefit Redemption

In-Person Redemption

Benefits must be redeemed in-person at our Warren, Michigan location. Staff will verify your membership status and record redemptions. You may be asked to show your member QR code from your profile page.

Redemption Limits

Each benefit category (PC hours, arcade credits, guest hours) is redeemed in full when used. For example, if you redeem PC hours, all 6 hours for the period are marked as used. Free drinks are limited to one per visit.

Benefit Expiration

All benefits reset at the beginning of each billing period. Unused benefits do not roll over and have no cash value.

9. Member Conduct

As a member, you agree to:

  • Treat staff and other guests with respect
  • Follow all posted rules and guidelines at our location
  • Not share or transfer your membership benefits to others
  • Not abuse or attempt to exploit the membership system
  • Keep your account information secure

We reserve the right to terminate memberships for violations of these conduct standards or our Terms of Service, with or without refund at our discretion.

10. Service Availability

While we strive to maintain consistent availability of our facilities and services, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Benefits may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, equipment issues, special events, or circumstances beyond our control. No refunds or credits will be provided for temporary service interruptions.

11. Termination by Us

We reserve the right to terminate your membership at any time for violation of these terms, our Terms of Service, or for any conduct we deem inappropriate. In cases of termination for cause, refunds are at our sole discretion.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from this Membership Agreement shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions in our Terms of Service.
